Become part of REWE Group Buying GmbH, which manages the merchandise business of REWE Group in Germany. Depending on the position, both the purchasing functions (brand) and category management are the focus across sales lines.

Through the continuous development of our European purchasing cooperations and purchasing companies, we are also an important negotiating and contracting partner for the branded industry internationally.

Together with you as a merchandise expert, market observer, trend scout, and innovation driver, we want to continue our success and further develop our merchandise business.

Therefore, we are looking for merchandise experts in both the food and non-food sectors and are excited to have an open conversation with you.

What we achieve together:
You demonstrate operational excellence in purchasing for a defined category: at the supplier, procurement, and quality level. If necessary, you represent and continuously support the Senior (Category) Buyer in all purchasing activities.
You independently conduct tenders, supplier negotiations, and annual discussions.

Your analytical skills are not neglected: through market observation and analysis of the competition regarding the assortment and market prices, including trend scouting to identify product innovations.

You are responsible for the development and implementation of measures for assortment and price optimization.
Depending on the area, you accompany tastings/sample testing.

You have everything in view:
together with the team's assistants, you ensure the careful and complete maintenance of all data (master
