We're looking for an energetic, service-oriented individual to join our team as a Mystery Room Associate at the Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie, NY


All in Adventures was launched in 2014 with a simple mission: to connect families, friends, coworkers, students, and a host of others together through shared fun in a socially interactive environment.

Visiting guests get the chance to either become real-life mystery detectives, game show contestants, axe throwers, or interactive room champions.

Today, the brand has grown to roughly 30 locations offering a wide variety of family-focused, experiential game activities.

In 2018 we were voted World's Best Escape Room and have even been featured on an episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

We are currently looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic part-time
MYSTERY ROOM ASSOCIATE to join our super engaged, guest-centric team of
Associates. This isn't your typical "retail" role.

As a Mystery Room Associate with AIA, your primary goal is "to facilitate fun" by constantly interacting with, and servicing visiting players as they arrive for their reserved game times This is a great opportunity for anyone excited for the chance to grow and develop with a company that is looking to change the face of how people interact socially through live games and activities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN OUR MYSTERY ROOM ASSOCIATES:

  • Represent the All In Adventures brand in a friendly and professional manner during every customer/employee interaction
  • Exhibit polite, respectful behavior as guests enter, experience and exit the venue
  • Go above and beyond to meet their needs actively looking for ways to wow our visiting guests
  • Achieve team and individual goals by promoting and selling all AIA game services and VIP Reward offers
  • Enthusiastically greet new guests as they arrive for their scheduled appointments, or simply stop in to inquire about the experience
  • Use excellent verbal skills as you provide information to guests about the overall game experience, room options, and safety rules
  • Exhibit good manners as you guide each guest to their selected game room
  • Even if they beg, don't give away clues simply help our guests get moving again by providing a (teenytiny) hint
  • Be there to support, encourage, and affirm their game strategy as they exit their rooms plus invite them back in the future after you take a keepsake photo using our greenscreen technology
  • Be an active contributor to daily housekeeping operations including the quick, sanitizing, and accurate recovery of each game room immediately after use
  • Have an open ear to any guest who happens to express any dissatisfaction with their experience, escalating their grievances upward with urgency
  • Arrange furniture, backdrops, props, or window displays, as outlined by company standards
  • Ensure signage, written game clues, etc., reflect appropriate changes in themed promotions and uphold company guidelines
  • Perform daily opening/endofday tasks

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION ... (DON'T
OVERLOOK THESE IMPORTANT CLUES)

  • High School diploma (or GED)
  • 1 year of previous customer service experience
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must successfully pass 3 professional reference checks
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to adapt during slow reservation days and fastpaced reservation days and with large groups of 50 or more visiting players
  • Multitasking capability and good time management skills
