Duties:


  • You will serve as the Navy ESS Technical Manager responsible for the coordination and execution of the Navy Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Program for NIWC LANT as defined in NAVADMIN 193/2
  • You will work under the Force Protection Solutions Division and this position will require outstanding communication skills to coordinate work efforts in support of the Navy's new ESS Program Office.
  • You will work directly with the Division Head to plan resources, execute budgets and develop acquisitions strategies to support the stand up of the new ESS Program.
  • You will engage in meetings with and briefing Navy leadership to include SES / SL personnel on program capabilities and performance.
  • You will interface with the Program Office and working with resources from multiple IPTs across the Shore C2ISR and Integration Department as well as NIWC PAC Teams executing work across the globe.

  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M for specialty area 802 level Basic within 12 months of appointment.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travelrelated purchases.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications:


NO-2210-6:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NO-05 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Managing Electronic Security Systems, their hardware and software components, networking, integration, production, and developing and executing plans to meet complex activities cost, schedule, and performance.-
Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
