Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg will provide direct patient care within a medical-surgical setting. They will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a daily basis.

The Med Surg RN will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Educate patients and their families on their treatment plans and help them manage their conditions
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in a medicalsurgical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively
  • Solid critical thinking and problemsolving skills
