Insurance Verification Specialist For - Township of Hamilton, United States - Campus Eye Management, LLC

Seeking a self-starter experienced in providing commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance verification, obtaining prior authorizations, and determining out of pocket cost estimations for patients having surgery in our on-site ASC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain insurance benefits and estimations of out of pocket responsibility via multiple systems, including NaviNet, Availity, insurance company, and our practice management system.
• Make notations in patient charts regarding patient's financial responsibility.
• Contact patients to inform them of financial obligations for their upcoming visit.
• Contact patients if/when their insurance information is invalid.
• Assist the LASIK Coordinator with light LASIK front desk duties, including providing to patients registration forms and consent agreements, answering LASIK department phone calls, and running credit card payments.

This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, Monday through Friday position. Reliability is paramount.

The position reports to the RCM Manager.
