Job Summary


We are a COVID-19 proactive organization that follows applicable health and safety regulations to help protect our members and staff.

The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the locker room area during program times.


Job Requirements


BCNY is a COVID-19 proactive organization that follows applicable health and safety regulations to help protect our members and staff.

To that end, we require that all BCNY employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. BCNY requires all staff to receive a booster shot that protects against COVID-19 once they become eligible. New employees will be asked to submit proof of full vaccination prior to their start date.

BCNY treats proof of vaccination confidentially and consistent with applicable law, and will not use the information for any purpose other than to ensure compliance with BCNY's mandatory vaccination policy.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and positively interact with members at all times to ensure members are safe in the locker room area
  • Ensure count of members in and out of area; monitor member transitions
  • Monitor locker room and surrounding areas, including entry and exit ways and stairs
  • Ensure proper care of all materials, organize room, and report any misused or damaged materials
  • Use behavior management strategies to defuse inappropriate behavior
  • Attend required department meetings and professional development trainings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Six months to one year work experience
  • Demonstrated organizational/ leadership ability
  • Dependable
  • First Aid and CPR certification desirable
