    Test Lab Calibration EngineerLocation: Chelmsford, MARate: $53 an hourClearance Preferred - DOD Secret Clearance10 Hour Day Shift
    Have you worked with Calibration Equipment? Have you worked with compliance and planning of upgrading equipment for 2 years? Our team is seeking an Engineer to work within a lab environment ensuring equipment meets company standards, plans and formulates equipment to meet integration requirements. Impact of the role:

    *Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned.

    *Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases.

    *Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

    *Equipment custodian lead for planning and scheduling calibration activities for engineering and production test equipment.

    Qualifications:

    Over 1 year of experience develop the processes and best practices for coordinating the calibration of production test stands to minimize downtime while evolving and improving processes over time.

    Utilizing the Indysoft calibration system of record to enter new equipment into the calibration system, act as lead investigator for risk identification notices, coordinating equipment repairs or disposition as required, ordering support materials, and conducting inventory of customer owned test equipment.


    • Proficient data reporting skills, MS Excel or other data tools


    • Demonstrated communication skills in team environment


    • Candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and obtain an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.


    • Bachelor degree or related work experience

    Desired Skills:


    • Experience using tableau, Excel or other data tools to develop repeatable processes for data cleaning, manipulation, and filtering for reports


    • Experience manipulating large datasets


    • Experience with specialized application software SAP


    • Experience working in a defense company with engineering or manufacturing background


    • Familiarity with functionality of basic electronic components
