The Department of Statistics aims to educate students at different levels, conduct research, and oversee various academic programs.



About the Position:

The role of Office Manager within the academic department is crucial. Reporting to the Department Chair, this position plays a key role in administrative and programmatic support for faculty and students.

Responsibilities include overseeing administrative operations, ensuring service needs are met, and abiding by University telework guidelines.



Responsibilities:

Duties entail managing office operations, providing support to faculty, coordinating meetings, maintaining records, processing payroll, budget monitoring, and responding to student inquiries.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serving as executive secretary to the Department Chair
  • Providing administrative support for faculty and students
  • Managing the office and equipment
  • Processing appointments and payroll
  • Supervising part-time employees
  • Monitoring department accounts and budgets
  • Responding to student queries
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Financial transaction experience
  • Administrative background

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Higher education work experience
  • Handling confidential materials
  • Proficiency in IT and digital tools
