Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and shippers to facilitate the transportation of freight shipments.
• Negotiate rates and terms with carriers to secure costeffective transportation solutions for our clients.
• Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of freight shipments, including pickup and delivery arrangements.
• Track and monitor the status of shipments to ensure ontime delivery and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools to manage and track freight shipments.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the transportation of freight.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and operations, to meet client needs and achieve company objectives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to freight transactions, including contracts, bills of lading, and invoices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience in freight brokerage or logistics preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills and building and maintaining relationships with carriers and shippers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, carriers, and team members.
• Highly organized and detailoriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Salary:

Salary will be commensurate with experience ranging from $60 - $120k annually.


Pay:
$60, $120,000.00 per year


Compensation package:

• 1099 contract

• Monday to Friday
