Summary
Responsible for installationand maintenance of all TV and Radio studio equipment.
Essential Functions
Candidates will have a vast knowledge ofradio and TV broadcast engineering and transmission, news operational andtechnical environments which include news automation systems,studio and field cameras,non linear editing systems, newsroom systems,cg graphics interfaces.
Candidates mustbe able to lift at least 40-50 pounds, have a general IT knowledge thatincludes IT switches androuters,ISP modems,VOIP phones,ENCO radio automation and playout,Comrex,Gates Air Flexiva FM transmitters, GatesAirMaxiva TV transmitters, Intraplex IP Link, and 950 STL links.
Competencies
Familiarizationwith news operations, Ross Carbonite Switchers, Wheatstone Consoles, StudioCameras, Prompter systems, play out automation systems, streaming protocols andgateways, knowledge on Gates Air Liquid and solid states transmitters, Ross production switchers,JVC/Panasonic and Sony studio and fieldcameras,Ross Xpression graphics interfaces,Adobe Premier nonlinearediting systems, and other related gear as necessary.
