- Analyzes features to be developed, ensuring business goals and user objectives are achieved
- Develop detailed product feature specifications based on business needs and ensure they're clearly understood by relevant teams
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
- Own problems endtoend, engaging with stakeholders to contribute to product roadmap, considering performance, observability, operations, testing
- Be an advocate of qualityupfront and test driven/behavior driven development, supporting the team with the Definition of Ready and achieving our Definition of Done
- Removes silos, contributing to the design, implementation, testing, and delivery of features
- Participate in shaping an effective software development lifecycle with a focus on customer support and root cause analysis
- Uphold high engineering standards by providing technical leadership and assistance to internal and external product development teams, advocating for best practices
- Understands the intent of the software engineering processes, asks questions when you don't, and provides feedback and drives change when the process isn't flowing efficiently
- Platform engineering Product Owner experience using GitOps, CI/CD, K8s, Golang
- Experience working with Point of Sale systems and/or in the Retail industry
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience embedded in a software engineering team
- 1+ years in an Analyst/Product Owner role
- 2+ years of experience building products with a strong user experience and working closely with design teams
- 2+ years of experience working in strong Agile teams and helping optimize processes
- 2+ years' experience working with Public Clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)
