The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3.5-year apprenticeship program as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Duisburg. The vocational school is located in Essen.
What to expect in your apprenticeship:
  • You will become an expert in maintaining, servicing, and repairing our complex systems
  • Mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Programming, installing, and testing modern hardware and software components
  • Identifying and troubleshooting errors and malfunctions
  • Learning how to professionally fix any issues
What to expect in your apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician at or near a train station:
  • You will work on mechatronic systems at our train stations
  • Maintenance and servicing of elevators and escalators will be part of your tasks
After completing your apprenticeship, you will take on tasks in facility management.
