The High School Principal is a dynamic educational leader responsible for fostering a positive and effective learning environment within the high school setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Principal):


Educational Leadership:

  • Provide visionary leadership to create and sustain a culture of academic excellence.
  • Develop and implement curriculum strategies that align with educational standards and promote student achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all students.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the high school, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient school operation.
  • Implement and enforce school policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Staff Development and Evaluation:

  • Recruit, hire, and retain qualified teaching and administrative staff.
  • Provide professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular evaluations to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback.

Student and Parent Engagement:

  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the community.
  • Address concerns and inquiries from parents, working collaboratively to support student success.
  • Encourage and facilitate parent involvement in school activities and decisionmaking processes.

Curriculum Development and Assessment:

  • Lead efforts to review, develop, and enhance the school curriculum to meet academic standards and address the needs of diverse learners.
  • Implement effective assessment strategies to measure student progress and inform instructional practices.

QUALIFICATIONS (Principal):


Education:


  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Education or related field.
  • Principal Certification or eligibility for certification.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or leadership role within a school setting.

Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide visionary and strategic leadership.
  • Strong organizational and decisionmaking skills.

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:

  • Proven ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make informed decisions.

Technology Proficiency:

  • Proficient in using educational technology and administrative tools.

Ethical and Professional Conduct:

  • Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct.
