Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced machining and manufacturing instructor to join our training programs team and provide hands-on instruction to our students.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons, demonstrating machining techniques, and guiding students through practical exercises to develop their skills in manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver curriculum for machining and manufacturing courses, including lesson plans, presentations, and handson exercises.
  • Instruct students on CNC machine operation, tooling selection, setup, and programming using industrystandard software and equipment.
  • Facilitate handson training sessions in our wellequipped workshop, demonstrating proper tool usage and machining practices.
  • Provide individualized feedback and guidance to students to support their learning and skill development.
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in machining operations.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to continuously improve curriculum content and instructional methods based on industry trends and advancements.
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of CNC machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and functionality.

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of production manufacturing experience
  • Understanding of Design for Manufacturing, computer aided manufacturing, and flexible manufacturing planning and control
  • Prefer proficiency in computer control and robotics
  • Prefer a fundamental understanding of Programmable Logic Control
  • CNC operation experience is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and work with measuring devices
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and production philosophies
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a teambased environment
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NIMS Machining Level I and II) are a plus.

Pay:
$48, $70,000.00 per year
