    Job Summary

    We're looking for a Project/Portfolio Manager to join a team that creates advanced surgical systems. You'll be in charge of overseeing projects related to Robotic Assisted Surgical Devices for these innovative products.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Drive product development efforts from start to finish.
    • Ensure compliance with Design Control processes.
    • Manage a portfolio of product design projects.
    • Ensure projects are properly scoped, resourced, and completed on time and within budget.
    • Organize phase gate review meetings.
    • Create and manage project schedules and budgets.
    • Communicate project status and potential risks clearly.
    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth development processes.
    • Provide input on product prioritization and performance feedback.
    • Establish effective communication channels with stakeholders.
    • Utilize corporate tools to support team members.
    • Coordinate a large number of resources efficiently.
    • Act as the main contact for key stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    Skill/Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
    • 3+ years of project management experience in medical device development.
    • Experience in software/electrical/mechanical product development.
    • Ability to lead diverse teams on multiple projects.
    • Knowledge of engineering, product strategy, and business management.
    • Familiarity with project tools like JIRA, Confluence.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in design transfer.
    • Strong communication skills with executives.
    • Driven, resourceful, and able to handle conflicts effectively.
    • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organization.
    • Manage ambiguity and multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Certification in project management (PMP) is a plus.

    Base Salary Range: $115,000 to $130,000Type: ContractWorkplace: Hybrid role with a mix of on-site and remote work, on-site days to be determined by management.
