    Description
    PARKVIEW CHRISTIAN CHURCH is looking for a full-time Communications Director to join this exciting and fast-paced team.

    Parkview is one church with three campus locations in Homer Glen, New Lenox and Orland Park.


    TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION you much have a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, evidence of a desire to live a consistent Christian life with a mature Christian character and be committed to invest at Parkview as your home church.


    THE COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR SHOULD DEMONSTRATE the ability to effectively lead, manage, and inspire staff and volunteers, possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, display excellence in writing, editing, and proofreading and be proficient with MS Office and Adobe products with the ability to provide team backup.

    Kevin West, Creative Director


    REPONSIBILITIES
    Serve as the "eyes" for all things print, electronic, and environmental, ensuring clear communication, brand presence, and consistency

    Work with department heads and ministry leaders to define, develop, and support effective and brand-aligned email communications to constituents

    Create, organize, plan, and implement effective Communications Department processes, strategies, and guidelines for all Parkview campuses and ministries

    Meet weekly with the Creative Pastor to assess and reinforce communications priorities and align with creative requests and projects.

    Seek to identify stories of life-change within the church, and collaboratively develop ways to creatively communicate those stories via a variety of mediums

    Champion cross-ministry promotions, digital hospitality, and thematic calendaring across all delivery channels (print, digital, environmental)

    Oversee Parkview's website, social media, and email strategy

    Conduct training for staff on communication guidelines and workflow

    Provide weekend support including requested sermon collateral and multi-campus communications and announcements

    Full-time // Exempt


    WORK SCHEDULE
    40 hours per week // Monday-Friday (primarily in-office) with night and

    weekend hours as needed
