WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
As a Development Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on rotor dynamics and bearing technology at our production site and competence center in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen, you will be responsible for carrying out development and design activities for compressors in the field of refrigeration technology. This includes:
// Design and dimensioning of bearings and rotors, as well as performing rotor dynamic calculations
// Development of simulation and testing methods to investigate the dynamic behavior and lifespan of bearing and rotor components // Development of balancing concepts, as well as conception and design of new components and evaluation of their influence on rotor dynamics // Design and construction of compressor components and related machine elements // Coordination and close collaboration with other development departments
// Development of innovative concepts as part of pre-development and development of corresponding design solutions
WHAT SETS YOU APART
// Completed degree in mechanical engineering or a related field // Professional experience in the described area of responsibility in an internationally operating industrial company // In-depth understanding of bearing and rotor design for high-speed machines, as well as general technical mechanics and machine dynamics // Extensive experience with the finite element method (FEM), particularly with ANSYS
// Proficient in working with common CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX) and
