Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that are adapted to meet the individual needs of each student
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for students
- Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide regular feedback to parents
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student education
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student progress and behavior
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field, Master's degree preferred
- Florida state teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with young children with special needs
- Knowledge of evidencebased practices for teaching students with special needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
