HIRING IMMEDIATELY - a 2-hour working interview will be part of the hiring process.

MUST PROVIDE PHOTOS OF PAST WORK TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

Will report to associate creative director and warehouse foreman.

We are seeking an experienced carpenter that will be responsible for:

• analyzing custom build specifications

- working with the designer's renderings to fabricate custom event decor, scenic props and furniture rentals
- observing and mentoring carpenters on fabrication duties
- collaborate with design team to coordinate projects
- adhere to company's safety standards and protocols at all times
- managing one's own time as well as team members
- partnering with foreman to recommend procedures for warehouse and machinery maintenance
- reviewing workflow and collaborating with foreman to resolve problems
- develop operating strategies, plans, or procedures
- executing high-quality custom fabrications while maintaining a positive attitude
- maintaining a respectful and safe work flow to ensure builds are built properly and fabricated in a timely manner


QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have knowledge and working experience with a broad background of carpentry, scenic painting, properties construction, prop building
• Must be wellversed with manual and power tools to install and maintain all staging and scenery on location
• Assist with onsite installation and breakdown of elements (bicoastal event locations)
• Use internal computer systems to receive and complete tasks and communicate with coworkers
• Other warehouse duties as assigned: QC Inspection, pickup/delivery, housekeeping.
• Proficiency in general construction and theatrical/event construction techniques.

REQUIRED:

• 48 years experience as a scenic carpenter, SKILLED at finishing
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds
• Ability to work as a team player under production deadlines
• Computer proficiency
• Class C driver's license and clean driving record
• Prompt, responsible, and selfmotivated
• Professional appearance and attitude.

JOB TYPE:
Full-time

Up to $25 per hour depending on experience

• Friday with occasional weekend work.
• Must have weekend availability
• Travel up to 40% of scheduled time

DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED
