Experienced Low Voltage
Installation Technician based out of our Richmond, VA headquarters to join our Integrated Systems team for work on low voltage installation projects primarily in access control and security.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Meet all Position Requirements as listed below.
  • SAFETY: Provide leadership and supervision that results in a safe work culture and understands and accepts accountability and liability on site; Understanding and compliance of all OSHA requirements; effective communication and execution of all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures; Facilitation of mandatory safety meetings, initial safety and hazard assessments, Participation in safety/incident investigations, Ensuring vehicle and equipment checks are carried out.
  • PLANNING & SCHEDULING
    :Low Voltage Installation Technicians
    are **accountable for following project plans and schedules and ensuring that crews under his/her direction perform daily and weekly activities to meet production goals; Translating general work requirements into a prioritized work plan for the crew; Working with the crew to overcome work challenges; Periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production.
  • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Low Voltage Installation Technicians must champion an inclusive employee relations culture, is accountable for the adherence to policies and procedures by the crew to ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment; Recognizing, addressing and resolving issues/problems among/between crew members; Promoting, supporting and facilitating teamwork and harmony between all crew members by promoting and fostering a positive, visible teamwork attitude among all crew members
  • QUALITY CONTROL: Low Voltage Installation Technicians are accountable for ensuring that the completed work meets quality standards; On site assessment prior to commencing work to ensure that the job is ready, and addressing any concerns; Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew works to job specifications and follows the plans; Inspecting and measuring completed work
  • ADMINISTRATION: Low Voltage Installation Technicians are accountable for the preparation of reports as required by the employer; Maintaining site foreman's log & site reports; Preparation of daily production records; Reporting on work progress; Completing MTO quality reports; Daily time keeping & reporting; Worker violation reports; Recommending personnel actions such as hiring, releasing, promotions and disciplinary measures.
  • Perform other assigned duties as requested by immediate supervisor and/or management.

BASIC POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • This position requires 34 years of Security and Access Control experience.
  • Management or Supervisory experience required.
  • Applicants MUST have reliable transportation.
  • Occasional mandatory travel outside of your territory, as required to meet client demand and deadlines.
  • Applicants must have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Must have a Clean Driving Record for the past 3 years (No suspensions within the last 3 years).
  • Ability to share a hotel room while on travel.
  • Comfortable with heights and stable on a ladder.
  • Ability to carry 75 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and routine drug tests.
  • Ability to ensure our 100% Tobacco, Vape AND Drug Free work environment.
