Machine Operator (m/f/d) for Rolling Bar Saw

Location: Berlin

Purpose and Objective of the Position
Our client, a renowned smelting and casting company for aluminum ingots, is currently seeking a production employee for their location in Berlin. This position is offered through temporary employment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently set up, load, and operate the band saw and homogenization system as a machine operator based on production orders
  • Independently feed and remove materials
  • Continuously monitor the sawing progress and ensure a smooth sawing process
  • Weighing of ingots
  • Independently troubleshoot minor issues with the sawing system

Your Profile

  • Previous experience as a machine operator operating metal saws or systems. Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in a metalworking profession or knowledge of metal processing would be advantageous
  • Safe handling of forklifts is required (large forklifts up to 20 tons are used for the rolling bar saw)
  • Independent and responsible work is a basic requirement
  • Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends
  • Resilience, manual dexterity,
