    Job Summary About Waveguide Waveguide LLC is an independent consulting and design firm committed to providing superior service and comprehensive designs for our clients in a dynamic, collaborative, team environment.

    Our technology expertise includes audiovisual systems consulting and design, voice and data communications infrastructure, communication-friendly acoustic environments, and ongoing AV operations services.

    We work together as a team to create strategic technology plans, efficient building and infrastructure designs, and effective technology system solutions to drive the success of our clients' organizations.

    General Statement of Duties We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening to join our team as a Project Manager.

    Project managers serve as the interface between our clients and our in-house design team to ensure accurate information is communicated and all work is completed on time, on budget, and consistently meets Waveguide's standards of quality.

    Remote / home-based work is anticipated as the primary workplace assuming the candidate meets the minimum home-office requirements.

    Daily responsibilities will include the following:

    Job ResponsibilitiesAct as project manager responsible for coordinating Waveguide's multidisciplinary technology consulting services within the scope of projectsMonitor and track progress reporting up to a Senior Project Manager or Principal.

    This will typically include compiling reports with project narratives, updated forecasts and burn rates, updated schedule(s), etc.

    Ensure internal project delivery processes are followedDrive internal teams to meet internal and external deadlinesProvide regular project updates and reporting to owner.

    This may include running open issues and action items lists, hourly fee consumption reports, etc.
    Take ownership of projects and the processes. Challenge ideas and find ways to improve work products and processes.

    Represent Waveguide at project meetingsCreate and manage project schedules identifying project deliverables and communicate schedules to design team to clarify design milestonesCoordinate project requirements with internal and external teamsAssist the project team with project delivery, including project set up, meeting preparation and participation, report writing, and general coordinationBuild relationships that empower clients.

    Be responsive to client needs. Pursue ongoing professional growth and development of project management skills.
    Assist and contribute to the Waveguide community. Job QualificationsA minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience managing professional construction and/or technology projects.

    Four-year or higher degree in a relevant technical field (BSCM)PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred or other relevant project management certification and demonstrable experience in a project management role in the built environment.
