Position:

You will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of approximately 50 employees in R&D (mechanical development, electronic development, software/firmware, project management, systems engineering, testing).
You ensure the smooth execution of development projects (new products and improvements) and plan with your team for optimal resource utilization in line with the company's strategy.
You are responsible for expanding and securing the product portfolio and have overall responsibility for product development processes and patent applications.
You have budget responsibility for personnel costs in the R&D department, including planning, budgeting, and controlling development and project tasks.
You initiate a continuous improvement process for your department and support the PLM process.
You coordinate external service providers and strive for new/additional partnerships.
One of your goals is to reduce the lead time in development.

Your profile:

You have a degree (e.g. in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics) or a comparable education.
You have several years of experience as a team leader in research and development and/or as a development manager in an international environment.
You have an entrepreneurial mindset when it comes to process optimization and efficiency improvement in R&D and the entire product
