Senior Help Desk Support Service Specialist at Summit Technologies, Inc.

Summit Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Senior Help Desk Support Service Specialist to assist a government client throughout all stages of system life cycle planning in Ft. Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate must be a U.S. citizen holding an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Offer Tier II support to end-users for desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, applications, and hardware.
Analyze and address user requests, collaborating with various teams to resolve issues.
Provide recommendations for system enhancements to improve functionality.
Conduct vulnerability and compliance checks to ensure adherence and documentation.
Coordinate with local service providers for compliance matters.
Manage vulnerability assessments and critical updates.
Suggest changes to minimize vulnerabilities.
Ensure quality assurance checks for software products are conducted.
Maintain and manage all automated IS systems.
Approve software installations.
Support the integration of mission partners.
Offer evaluations and suggestions for software requests.

Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum of six years of ServiceNow development skills in an enterprise-level environment.
Experience in managing ServiceNow and other application integrations.
Experience planning resource allocation based on high-level specifications.
Excellent communication skills.

Required Certification:

Hold any of the following certifications: CompTIA Security+, GSEC, SSCP, CND, or CCNA-Security.

Education:

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience; Or
Master's degree and 6 years of experience; Or
12 years of relevant work experience.

Security Clearance:

Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
