Responsibilities:

3.1 Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.

3.2 Moves finished goods and raw materials.

3.3 Loads and unload trucks.

3.4 Picking orders

3.4.1 Labeling

3.4.2 Stretch wrapping skids

3.4.3 Checking / verification

3.5 Maintains a neat and orderly warehouse.

3.6 Must understand and properly fill out all warehouse-related paperwork, and follow all procedures.

3.7 Supports and follows all BERRY safety and GMP policies and procedures.

3.8 Follow all department procedures and directives.

3.9 Maintain the warehouse in compliance with BERRY's sanitation standards.

3.10 Support the company's quality system.

3.11 Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

4.1 Skills
4.1.1 Ability to operate a forklift, and must possess a valid forklift operator's license.

4.1.2 Must pass the warehouse testing requirements.

4.1.3 Able to add, subtract, divide, multiply, and work with decimals.

4.1.4 Must be able to speak, write and read effectively.

4.1.5 Operate scanning equipment


4.2 Education and/or Equivalent Experience
4.2.1 High School Diploma or GED preferred.


4.3 Physical Requirements/Work Environment
4.3.1 Must be able to work eight (8) hours per day with two minute breaks, and one minute lunch. Must be able to work overtime on short notice.

4.3.2 Indoor and outdoor exposure to elements depending on activity.

4.3.3 Will lift frequently up to 35 lbs. And occasionally up to 50 lbs. of weight.


4.3.4 Must be able to stand approximately 50% of the shift, intermittently, and sit 50% of the shift on a forklift.

4.3.5 Must have use of both arms to pick up boxes, steer a forklift, and/or label boxes.

4.3.6 Required to read labels on cartons, shippers, pick lists and Bill of Ladings. Also, must be able to see to input into CRT, and drive a forklift.

4.3.7 Must be able to hear in order to safely drive the forklift.

4.3.8 Must have manual control to drive a forklift.

4.3.9 Bending and twisting are required to pick up boxes and to label boxes.

4.3.10 Must have the ability to squat, to properly pick up boxes, and walk to pick orders.

5.1 Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor /Group leader
