Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality sushi dishes in our restaurant.

Duties:
- Prepare and create a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other sushi dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi bar area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of sushi orders with other menu items
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any questions or concerns
Skills:
- Proficiency in knife skills for precise cutting and slicing techniques
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Experience in meal preparation, particularly in sushi or Japanese cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced restaurant environment
- Excellent attention to detail for creating visually appealing sushi presentations
- Knowledge of different types of fish, seafood, and other ingredients used in sushi making
- Familiarity with culinary techniques specific to sushi preparation
- Previous experience working in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being selfmotivated
