    Join our growing compliance team as an EDI Administrator to help with our data quality and integrity. Our EDI Administrator is to support the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program, along with other varied analytical and project-based support functions within the Worker's Compensation Claims Department This position exists to ensure compliance standards are met in support of business and company goals.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Supports the management of departmental compliance initiatives, procedures, and operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

    • Gains an understanding of the policies, procedures, and operations of the various reporting entities, including Medicare reporting, Reinsurance ceding, FROI/SROI reporting, IDC reporting to ensure compliance standards are met.
    • Assists in documenting and maintaining workflows and procedures on the various components of EDI reporting.
    • Complies with regulatory requirements and company rules.
    • Stays updated on industry communications and changes in legislation to support changes in requirements.
    • Assists with special projects and assignments as assigned by EDI Supervisor.

    Handles and monitors inbound and outbound data flow of EDI traffic.

    • Handles daily FROI/SROI diaries.
    • Supports Medicare Secondary Payer Act processes and compliance with all state regulations.
    • Analyzes and validates data at the time of submission, corrects errors and troubleshoots issues with documentation or vendors.
    • Notifies and works with appropriate claims personnel to resolve errors.

    Completes EDI errors to ensure compliance performance standards are met.

    • Handles errors timely to ensure accurate and timely reporting of EDI transactions.
    • Completes various forms of transactional tracking to ensure compliance goals are met.
    • Distributes reports to management according to department procedures and policies.

    Participates in training and supports the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs.

    • Attends all training sessions hosted by the EDI team.
    • Supports the creation of training material and curriculum for EDI training.
    • Participates in user acceptance testing for new and automated EDI processes.
    • Understands and adheres to continuously changing policies and processes regarding EDI technology.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

    High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), required. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree, a plus. Minimum 1 year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    Working knowledge of electronic data exchange role, desirable. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills with particular attention to detail required. Strong organization, oral and written skills required. Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and agility to learn enterprise resources planning (ERP) software used within the organization. Ability to utilize critical thinking to decide if a problem is EDI related or if it must be escalated to another team. Ability to come up with ideas and think outside the box. Ability to multitask and problem solve, and ability to work under stress. Ability to learn quickly by using online resources, asking questions, and self-study. Basic knowledge of the following: Windows Operating System, Networking, DNS, Active Directory, and Linux Operating System.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Office environment – no specific or unusual physical or environmental demands and employees are regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.

    This position operates in an office environment and requires the frequent use of a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment.

    COMPENSATION

    The hourly pay range listed for this position, $21.46 to $33.84, is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at ICW Group, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education. In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. We typically do not hire towards the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package outlined below.
