South County Smiles is currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals and providing top-notch patient care. With over 20 years of dedicated service to the Wakefield area and more than 50 years of collective experience, South County Smiles prides itself on delivering exceptional dental service. We are privileged to offer our patients the most advanced high-tech solutions in the dental field. Our exceptional staff is well-trained to implement these technologies. As a compassionate team of professionals, we strive to provide all dental solutions in one convenient office setting, making us a leading Wakefield RI Dentist. We strive to deliver a WOW experience to our patients and are focused on our teams continued growth and education. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to provide excellent dental care to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist dentists and hygienists during dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms for procedures
Sterilize instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental x-rays
Clean patients' teeth and provide oral hygiene instructions
Keep track of patient records and treatment plans
Schedule patient appointments
Provide exceptional customer service to patients
Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with dental imaging software
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Commitment to providing quality patient care
