Your new field of activity:

The CJD offers orientation and future opportunities to 155,000 young and adult people every year. They are supported, accompanied and trained by over 10,500 full-time and many voluntary employees at over 350 locations.

Living and staying at the CJD BBW Gera as well as active leisure activities are a special part of the rehabilitation of young people, supporting their educational and training process.

Your new area of responsibility:

Support and guidance of young people with disabilities in the boarding school during their training or vocational preparation measures
Participation in development and rehabilitation planning
Promotion of holistic personal development through leisure educational measures with plenty of room for your commitment and own ideas
Pedagogical support of young people in different life situations
Support in developing practical life skills, communication skills and coping strategies
Encouragement to unfold their own potential for development
Support in shaping an independent and selfdetermined future
Interdisciplinary cooperation with school, training and accompanying specialist services

Your profile:

Completed training as a staterecognized educator (m/f/d) or special needs educator (m/f/d) or
Completed degree in social pedagogy / social work or equivalent qualification
Additional qualification in special education desirable
