This role will interact with all levels of Key IDN/Hospitals. Meeting with OR Leadership, Supply-chain and 'C'-level Executives. Key initiatives include Strategic Contracting, Capital Purchases/Placements and Surgical device Portfolio Proliferation/Growth.


Job Duties:


  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing and Business Unit Leadership to identify the highest priority strategic customers to drive business growth within the assigned Region.
  • Develop strategic plan for the assigned Region that meets the shortterm and longterm business requirements of Olympus and our customers relative to Surgical Devices products.
  • Effectively disseminate the plan to decision makers within the target Hospitals and/or IDN(s) in collaboration with Surgical Solutions Sales, Conversion Specialists and other support teams to gain support for product evaluations and ultimately contract execution and conversion.
  • Leverage available market data and product/procedural evidence to support Olympus Surgical Device's market position as it relates to the customer's needs.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators to be measured against the business plan for their Regional strategic targets.
  • Set meetings with key, influential executives within target health systems to communicate and discuss Olympus Surgical Devices portfolio value proposition in the market.
  • Conduct research and analysis of the account and surrounding market conditions, properly assess the data and information collected, and provide recommendations to senior management to develop a multiyear strategic account pipeline.
  • Identify and develop Olympus Surgical Devices "champions" (both clinical & nonclinical customers) within each target hospital and/or IDN.
  • Establish trust and build support via strong customer Clevel relationships and through relationships with the broader Olympus Surgical Solutions sales, marketing and sales leadership teams.

Job Qualifications:


Required:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Surgical/Medical Device Sales, National Accounts or similar roles.
  • Minimum of 57 years proven track record calling on Clevel positions within healthcare hospital networks to influence decisions in contract negotiations and purchasing commitments.
  • Willingness to travel as needed; extensive domestic travel may be required.

Preferred:


  • Management Experience or 5+ years in Strategic Accounts preferred.
  • Direct experience in advanced surgical energy is preferred.

The anticipated base salary for this full-time position working at this location is $155,000.00 / year, plus potential for variable compensation governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).

Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including:
level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
