-Responsibilities_
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Perform construction inspection, supervision, and monitoring of the $6.3 million dollar Reconstruction of St. Mary's Recreation Center in The Bronx, NY.
- Analyze and interpret construction documents; maintained daily and weekly.
- Report construction activities and maintain daily project site safety.
- Prepare agenda, lead progress meetings, and take meeting minutes to distribute to stakeholders.
- Maintain and update Request for Information Log, Submittal Log and Change Order Log.
- Perform cost analysis and evaluation of change orders for adequate and fair pricing.
- Review and process Contractor monthly progress payments and maintain project specific Calculation Book of installed quantities.
- Inspect material for compliance with specifications, upon arrival to job site.
- Provide daily progress photographs of work performed. Label and save photographs on electronic file.
- Maintain visitor sign in / sign out log and daily Sub-Contractor Employee Log.
Requirements_
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience performing roofing/masonry inspections onsite.
- NYCHA experience preferred.
- Required: OSHA30 certification.
- MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel and SharePoint) preferred.
- Strong organizational ability and good communication skills.
Pay:
$ $55.00 per hour
