- Provide onboard technical assistance to inspect, evaluate, troubleshoot, test, provide corrective actions, and/or technical oversight and guidance to resolve cyber-related equipment deficiencies on 688 and 774 Class submarines
- Serve as authority for direct fleet technical support on submarine cyber systems
- Apply knowledge, theory, and methodology in the analysis and resolution of problems encountered in troubleshooting assignments
- Support assessments, inspections, tests, and ship checks as required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience/comfort interacting with senior/executive-level active-duty military and civilian Government employees
- Effective organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- At least eight (8) years of general U.S

- Proficient with common productivity software including Microsoft Office and Project, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
- Principles of conducting fiber optic cable testing and repair using light loss meters, OTDR's, fusion splicing, etc.
- Principles of conducting electrical cable testing (continuity and insulation) and repair using multimeters, meggers, terminal crimping tools, etc.
- Must comply with the DoD IA requirements of DoD M, which include earning and maintaining appropriate credentials from DoD IA workforce qualifications.
- Must have an active secret US government clearance
