    Description


    Our data-analysts work hands on with our internal team and our customers, typically CFOs and FP&A Leaders, to build out robust Customer and Revenue models in a highly scalable and repeatable fashion using SQL, dbt, and a vast library of proprietary data models.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, particularly in working with databases and SQL, along with a strong business acumen.

    This individual will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, contributing valuable insights to inform strategic business decisions.

    This is a client-facing role and the successful candidate should have a background in consulting, banking, or business operations, coupled with a proven ability to bridge the gap between technical and business domains.

    Our Data Analyst will work with clients (typically CFOs of high-growth technology companies) to understand their business models in-depth, model their data to provide deep insight required for thoughtful decision-making and partner with them on strategy generation to drive improved performance in their businesses.

    It is a high-leverage and challenging position.

    Your colleagues will have worked at top-tier organizations such as HubSpot and Goldman Sachs with seniority up to the VP level.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Data Analysis and Interpretation:
    Utilize technical skills to extract, transform, and analyze large and complex datasets.
    Develop and execute SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from databases.
    Experience working with dbt to model and transform data for efficient analysis is a strong plus.
    Strong attention to detail combined with an ability to synthesize insights.


    Business Fluency:
    Demonstrate a deep understanding of business operations and financial modeling.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable data-driven solutions.
    Analyze complex revenue streams and provide insights to enhance business performance.


    Technical Proficiency:
    Apply strong technical skills to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
    Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in data analytics tools and technologies.


    Communication and Collaboration:
    Clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a comprehensible manner.
    Collaborate effectively with business leaders, data engineers, and other stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.


    Problem Solving:
    Identify and address data quality issues, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analyses.
    Proactively propose and implement improvements to existing processes and workflows.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance).
    Proven experience working in technical environments, with expertise in database management, SQL, and (optionally) dbt.
    Background in consulting, banking, or business operations preferred.
    Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and analyze complex revenue streams.
    Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
    Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus.
