Job Overview:
A Construction business is seeking a full-time
Receptionist/ Payroll Administrative.

The primary function of the Receptionist / Payroll administrator is to maintain the telephone system, welcome visitors to the office, and perform office and payroll administrative functions.


  • Immediately greet visitors in a friendly manner.
  • Manage multiline telephone system and route calls as appropriate
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
  • Receive incoming packages and prepare outgoing packages as needed
  • Enter man hours and purchase orders into a computerized database
  • Assist with administrative overflow when required including providing support to production supervisors and managerial staff
  • Enter Man Days into a system
  • Order containers for job sites
  • Fillings
  • Preparing Check Lists, and Certificate of Fitness for the buildings
  • Assist applicants and employees with the completion of paperwork.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word, Microsoft Office is a must
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Customer service: 5 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

  • Long Island City, NY 11101: Relocate before starting work (required)
