At YSB, we work hard to make kids matter every day We are a non-profit organization that has Residential, Family, and Community Based programs for children and families.

The Director of Residential RHY Services is responsible for the overall operation of the Residential RHY Programs.

Tasks include developing and implementing program strategies; overseeing service delivery; recruiting, training, and supervising program staff; overseeing budgets; adhering to local, state, and federal statutes and regulations that pertain to program operations; and assisting youth in returning safely to their families or finding suitable alternative living arrangements.


Responsibilities:


  • Recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates/completes performance evaluations for program employees.
  • Oversees scheduling, submitting timesheets/mileage sheets/other agency forms. Approves timesheets.
  • Ensures all aspects of case management are occurring in a timely, clinically sound manner including: intake, case plan development, individual and family work, and aftercare planning.
  • Ensures that case records are maintained for each client in accordance with the RHY grants, CDBG grants, DHS regulations, any/all governing agencies, and YSB expectations.
  • Provides necessary verbal and written reports to referral sources as requested and needed.
  • Filters referrals to appropriate program and staff.
  • Manages census.
  • Oversees all residential budgets.
  • Provides on-call assistance to residential staff as scheduled.
  • Facilitates staff meetings to provide direction to the program teams.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with community leaders, employers, schools, law enforcement officials, and social service agencies.
  • Ensures ongoing program evaluation both formally and informally including: routinely seeking feedback from clients and families, ensuring formal satisfaction and follow-up surveys occur, facilitating formal program evaluation sessions, and utilizing outcome data for program improvement.
  • Ensures ongoing monitoring of the security within the facilities and on the surrounding grounds to assure the safety of the clients and maintain a reasonably quiet and orderly neighborhood presence.
  • Serves as the lead facilitator for special projects as assigned by the CEO.
  • Attends and maintains all required certifications such as: Medication Administration Trainer, CPR/First Aid, Safe Crisis Management, Fire Safety, Policies and Procedures, as well as any other trainings assigned.

Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Job requires a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field and four years of experience in human services

Ability to work evenings and weekends, and overnight awake hours

Salary
$50,000-60,000/year
