    Orlando, FL (Remote)

    The

    Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst- Journeyman

    shall prepare acquisition requirements documentation in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division Orlando (NAWCTSD Orlando).

    Responsibilities

    Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as:

    Acquisition Plans (AP)
    Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR)
    Procurement Initiation Document (PID)
    Statement of Work (SOW)
    Funding documents
    Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
    Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)

    Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.

    Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.

    Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
    Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
    Travel up to 50%.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Business, Economics, or Management background. (OR)
    Master's degree with

    Defense Acquisition University Level 2 or equivalent.
    Must have 3+ years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures, or similar discipline.
    Must be a US citizen.
    Must have a Secret clearance to start.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences within two (2) hours, as requested.

    Must have experience with project management or program management that includes implementing policy, coordinating complex Navy procedures, and developing project budgets.

    Knowledge of and experience with Government contract and procurement procedures including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement to ensure all life-cycle support requirements are satisfied.

    Ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different project at any one time.
    Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications to include Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
    Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
    Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English language.
    Ability to answer questions and resolve problems relating to the Acquisition program.
    Ability to travel up to 50%.
