    Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst- Journeyman

    Orlando, FL (Remote)

    The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst- Journeyman shall prepare acquisition requirements documentation in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division Orlando (NAWCTSD Orlando).

    Responsibilities

    • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as:
    • Acquisition Plans (AP)
    • Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR)
    • Procurement Initiation Document (PID)
    • Statement of Work (SOW)
    • Funding documents
    • Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
    • Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBA)
    • Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
    • Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
    • Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
    • Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
    • Travel up to 50%.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with Business, Economics, or Management background. (OR)
    • Master's degree with Defense Acquisition University Level 2 or equivalent.
    • Must have 3+ years of experience with Defense Department acquisition policies and procedures, or similar discipline.
    • Must be a US citizen.
    • Must have a Secret clearance to start.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences within two (2) hours, as requested.
    • Must have experience with project management or program management that includes implementing policy, coordinating complex Navy procedures, and developing project budgets.
    • Knowledge of and experience with Government contract and procurement procedures including new contract actions, contract modifications, and product procurement to ensure all life-cycle support requirements are satisfied.
    • Ability to coordinate and integrate the work activities of several different project at any one time.
    • Advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications to include Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
    • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English language.
    • Ability to answer questions and resolve problems relating to the Acquisition program.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
