Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct care to clients in their homes following a personalized care plan
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Help with medication reminders and ensuring clients take their medication
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Escalate any concerns or changes in a client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety protocols as set by Senior Helpers and the client's care plan

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or caregiving role in a professional agency setting
  • Completion of a stateapproved training program or willingness to complete training upon hire
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
