Design, develop, and oversee our data platform and its architectural delivery.
Craft a roadmap for updating the inherent capabilities of our current platform.
Amplify security measures for client data, from ingestion to reporting.
Direct and champion data platform initiatives, covering Data Lake Strategy & Governance, Data Engineering, Platform Development, Security Models, and Master Data Management.
Recruit, guide, and inspire a top-tier data platform organization, including engineering leads, architects, and multiple Data Engineering teams with varied development goals.
Strategically manage data aligning with our business goals and roadmaps.
Assess emerging data management technologies and consistently introduce fresh ideas.
Stay abreast of industry trends, infusing our strategies with the latest knowledge and a transformative approach.

Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a background in data engineering.
Proven ability in recruiting, nurturing, and retaining top-tier talent, including employees and contractors.
Profound knowledge of data platform architecture, data modeling, database enhancement, and data management practices.
Familiarity with cloud data services (especially Azure), data bricks, data lake tech, predictive analytics, data visualization, unstructured data, ETL/data integration, AI/ML, and NLP.
Exceptional SQL skills with the ability to deeply analyze data across various database platforms.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field, or 10 years of experience in a comparable role with certifications or equivalent work experience.
