The State of New Hampshire, Office of Legal & Regulatory Services has a part time vacancy for Program Assistant I
SUMMARY:
Provides diverse high-level clerical and database entry duties for the Estate Recovery Unit, Administrative Appeals Unit, and Bureau of General Counsel activities to meet state and court-ordered deadlines. Performs a variety of program support-based clerical duties with mínimal supervision.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree
36 Months of additional relevant experience = Bachelor's degree
**54 Months of additional relevant experience = Master's degree
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.**
Experience:Three years' experience in a responsible clerical position, including experience providing program information to others.**
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists the Estate Recovery Unit with opening, closing, and archiving case files, processing mail, and researching cases to determine if recovery may be appropriate.
Performs word processing and database input in regard to legal activities, filing/retrieving documents, printing documents, and checking existing records for accuracy.

Provides information to the general public, office staff, and other agencies in regard to administrative appeals, the probate process, and other Department legal proceedings. Answers telephone calls and provides program information, obtains missing data and/or information and/or routes calls to appropriate personnel for further assistance.

Performs other clerical duties as required such as photocopying, answering the telephone, filing, archiving, typing general correspondence, form letters, and assisting in special projects. Monitors and orders office supplies for the Bureau of General Counsel and Estate Recovery Unit.
