    Description

    St. Gabriel's Hospice & Palliative Care is hiring an Billing Assistant to support our hospice billing team in Weatherford, TX.

    Job Duties:
    • Efficient or familiar with Wellsky Consolo and TMHP
    • Enter 3071/3074 forms into TMHP Medicaid database
    • Create nursing home invoices and assist with processing payments
    • Verify patient's eligibility
    • Create emails to local offices regarding billing errors
    • Resolve billing discrepancies by conducting further research and correcting errors
    • Check shared Google sheets daily to keep up to date information required for authorization to bill
    • Contact HHSC regarding form errors
    • Follow up on billing errors and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner

    Requirements:
    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Must have previous experience with typing, clerical skills, and computers
    • Two years of experience in healthcare related billing functions is preferred. Hospice experience preferred.
