- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of material handling equipment, including docks, overhead doors, and overhead cranes.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform periodic maintenance on new and existing equipment.
- Conduct site evaluations to ensure proper equipment selection and installation.
- Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical support.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any installation or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and new technologies.
- Proven experience and knowledge in the installation and maintenance of docks, overhead doors, and overhead crane equipment.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Welding certification preferred.
- Ability to read and follow wiring schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Overtime, weekend work and some overnight travel required at times.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Physical capability to perform job functions, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and reaching.
