(Deputy) Head of Automation (m/f/d)

with direct reporting line to the management

In this highly challenging and diverse role, you will be responsible for coordinating the automation and commissioning of paper plant components worldwide with your team.

Your responsibilities/ tasks:

  • Technical and disciplinary management of the Automation department, consisting of hardware and software engineering, commissioning, and service, with approximately 12 employees in a team leader structure
  • Technical clarification with customers, departments, and suppliers, as well as project management with a focus on time, quality, and cost
  • Setting control architectures and software design with a focus on group-wide synergies
  • Coordination with company locations to establish uniform standards in project engineering, hardware and software engineering
  • Guidance in the selection of electrical automation components and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
