Solace Care Adult Family HomeAvailable shift:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 5pm-12:00 (7 hour shifts)
Sundays: 9AM-9AM
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must pass a Wisconsin Caregiver background check
- Must pass preemployment physical, drug and TB screen.
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license/ID
- Experience caring for and supporting people with special needs in AFH setting
- Reliable transportation to work
Responsibilities:
We seek people who care about others and enjoy inspiring and motivating the individuals we serve.
- Chart daily progress notes during each shift
- Ensure daily care for clients
- Assisting clients in their daytoday life skills, (showering, hygiene, etc),
- Helping clients with mobility
- Medication management
- Participate in community focused activities
- Attend doctor's appointments with clients
- Serving meals with attention to dietary needs
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Act quickly and responsibly in case of emergency
- Problem Solving: Solves basic problems and communicates effectively
- Respond to and report any event, incident, action, or inaction that jeopardizes the health and safety of the patients.
Pay:
$ $14.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Caregiving: 3 years (preferred)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (preferred)
Work Location:
In person
