    The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


    • Supports the COMSEC program as an Alternate COMSEC Custodian supporting key transfer, inventories, and inspections.
    • Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.
    • Helps review classified contracts, DD 254s, and close out contracts upon completion of the contract.
    • Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
    • Verifies accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances.
    • Maintains controlled security documents and information.
    • Excellent customer service experience with the ability to have critical and creative thinking.
    • Support Classified Document Control area by maintaining controlled security documents and information.
    • Maintains central, controlled supply of classified and unclassified documents originating within the company.
    • Reviews documents to determine pre-established classification level based on contract(s) or security manual, distribution requirements and processes distribution requests according to established procedures.
    • Ensures generation of quality assurance checklist for product release packages in support of production schedules.
    • Maintain a secure, computerized document revision system, a periodic review system, and status tracking for all process-related documents and records.
    • Supports purchasing and orders supplies for the Security Operations team.
    • Supports tracking of international travel, oversea responses, training, etc.
    • Supports the site SETA (Security, Education, Training, & Awareness)Basic Qualifications:
    • High School diploma or equivalent, and four years of additional education and/or security administration support as an AFSO (Alternate Facility Security Officer) supporting 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM)
    • Candidate must have and be able to maintain, an active U.S. Government final security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation dated within the last 6 years
    • Candidate must have strong customer service & communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:
    • COMSEC experience
    • DCSA FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum certificate
    • Experience with databases such as SIMS, DISS, and NISS
    • Ability to work independent
    • Ability to multi-task and deal with priorities
    • Ability to lead team projects and work well within a team
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience Interpreting government requirements documents
    • Experience with conducting security briefings
    • Knowledge of Safeguarding, control of accountability classified material
    • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines

    Salary Range:
    $48,600 - $81,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
