As the final checkpoint in our process, you ensure that every inspected part not only meets but exceeds our rigorous standards.
Responsible for incoming, in-process and final inspections, you will validate that all job requirements align with our high standards.By joining us, you'll have hands-on experience with some of the most advanced coating technology in the industry, playing a vital role in our ongoing legacy.
This position will be an integral part of the Quality Control team at Armoloy of IL, overseeing critical components of our proprietary processes.
Responsibilities:

Conduct Rigorous In-Process Inspections: Examine plated components in detail during various stages of production, using part drawings and established processes to ensure conformance to client and quality requirements.

Document Production Anomalies: Log any deviations or anomalies in line with the company's standard procedures and processes.

Facilitate Quality Communication: Serve as the key point for addressing quality-related concerns within the facility and liaise with other departments or branches as necessary.

Handle Non-Conforming Products: Manage products that don't meet standards and report issues to other departments for root cause and corrective actions.

Gage-Based Measurements: Employ calibrated gages to accurately measure the deposit thickness of plated components, ensuring adherence to specified requirements.

Undertake Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as directed to ensure an organized and efficient work environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 1+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, plating, or manufacturing environment
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with aerospace standards
- Experience using calibration inspection tools
- Experience with quality assurance principles, methods, and processes
- Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Intermediate level skill with Windows operating systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and specifications
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist, and reach as part of daily activity
- Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
