Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the store in a friendly manner
- Scan items, provide pricing, and accept payments using a cash register
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department if needed
- Promote store products and services to enhance the shopping experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cash handling and providing excellent customer service
- Proficiency in using a cash register and basic math skills for retail transactions
- Strong communication skills with a polite and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Knowledge of retail sales procedures and familiarity with product demonstrations is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for interacting with diverse customers
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
