What You'll Do

Work with local branch staff and regional support staff to review and negotiate customer contracts and to manage the accounts receivables portfolio for the branch.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate customerinitiated project contracts, as well as other documents such as nondisclosure agreements, joint check agreements, and lien waivers. Consult with regional contracts team as needed.
  • Manage the accounts receivables portfolio for the region to ensure that payments are timely received consistent with contractual payment terms and that delinquent accounts are promptly identified and addressed.
  • Track deadlines and ensure that statutory and contractual paymentrelated rights are preserved at all times, including lien rights and bond rights.
  • Work with branch manager, branch staff, and regional support staff to address delinquent accounts and resolve payment disputes, including change orders, back charges, and other such issues.
  • Proactively work with customers to address problems and concerns, to identify effective solutions, and to build and foster positive, collaborative relationships.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular meetings with branch staff and regional support staff to discuss and monitor delinquent accounts and projectrelated issues and concerns.
  • Maintain meticulous written documentation of customer accounts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer accounts and corporate financial and other data.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in finance, accounting, or other such related field of study) or paralegal degree.
  • Prior construction industry experience.
  • At least 23 years prior experience reviewing, understanding, drafting, and negotiating contractual terms and conditions.

  • Excellent oral and written skills; analytical and problemsolving skills; negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and strong listening skills.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively and creatively with many stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritize your workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, preferred experience with BlueBeam, and a proven adaptability to learn new systems.
  • Previous roles that emphasize critical thinking, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and synthesize purchase orders and other related contract documents and information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation, written, oral, analytical, and problemsolving skills are an absolute must.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects and issues simultaneously.
  • Overtime and travel will be required.
