    Description

    Job Title:
    Modem Field Test Engineer

    Location:
    Dallas, TX (Onsite)

    Duration:
    Contract

    Top required skils

    • Exposure to commercial field/lab test and data analysis tools for wireless telephony product verification
    • Handset test experience with 5G(SA, NSA, sub6, mmW)/4G(LTE TDD, FDD) operators or with commercial handset OEM's, e.g. UDP, TCP, HTTP, ping, etc.
    • Understanding of call flows between handset/UE and NW in 5G/4G network
    • Experience with troubleshooting/analyzing problems of Android devices

    Job Description:
    .- RF propagation

    • Telecommunication concepts
    • Understanding of Physical/MAC layers and Call Processing concepts
    • Understanding of wire line and wireless data protocol stacks, to include IP, TCP, UDP, IPV6, IPv4, ICMP, DNS, etc.
    • Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handset for various air interface standards
    • Familiarity with IP telephony network (SIP), IMS and IP telephony standards
