Hello there We have a podenco at home who arrived when he was two years old. He was abandoned and, according to sources from the shelter and the veterinarian, he destroyed a house because he was left without light and water for a few days in the dark. The family who adopted him before us returned him to the shelter and then we took him in.He is a very good dog and has been with us for about 3 years, but he arrived during a difficult time for me and I didn't let him out of my sight. He leads a very active life, going for a run for 2-3 hours every day in addition to his shorter daily walks.
Now he has some problems, he suffers from separation anxiety and cannot be left alone. When he is left alone, he destroys anything made of cardboard.
I am hoping for your response and would like to know your budget and, most importantly, how you would address his behavior as I am choosing between a few trainers.
